            SUNFLOWER GREENS PIZZA

     

Group #1

      1       15.4oz can refry black beans

      1       4oz can diced Jalapeno, fire roasted (hot)

 

Group #2

       1         4oz can diced green chili (mild)

       1       7oz can Salsa Verde

       1       3oz pack JONATHAN’S Sunflower Greens

 

Group #3

      2       tablespoons olive oil

      ½      medium onion, chopped

      3       medium cloves garlic, chopped

      4       ounces mushrooms, sliced

      1       small zucchini, cut in small cubed

      1       handful baby spinach,

Other vegetables may be substituted for these depending on preference and availability.

 

      2       ready made pizza crusts

      2       ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

      2       ounces freshly grated cheddar cheese

      1       handful sunflower greens to decorate the top of the pizza

 

Combine and mix Group #1

Combine and mix Group #2

Saute the vegetables in Group #3 in oil.

Layer, first Group #1 and then Group #2, then Group #3 on top of the pizza crusts. Top with cheeses. Bake at 425oF for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and steamy. Remove from oven, decorate top with sunflower greens, slice and serve.
