Here are some of our favorite uses for sprouts.
Sprouts bring a wonderful VARIETY of FLAVORS and
TEXTURES to our meals. CRUNCHY Mung Bean sprouts are SWEET and JUICY. Alflafa
sprouts and pea shoots have a MILD pea flavor. Pea shoots, Mung Beans and
Munchin' Mix can be WILTED or COOKED and served as a vegetable side dish. The
more DELICATE Alfafla, Broccoli, Radish and Clover sprouts are a quick and easy
source of FRESH greens in sandwiches and rollups. Radish sprouts are SPICY like
a fresh radish. Pea shoots are a fun DECORATION for gourmet hors d'oeuvres or
entrées. Mung beans and pea shoots add flavor, COLOR and texture to a salad.
CHEWY Munchin' Mix is a wonderful crunch for a salad topping, and has a nut-like
quality in stuffings and breads. Ummm... these recipes are delicious! |
