Munchin’ Mix Stuffing
½ cup mushrooms, coarsely chopped 2 onions, finely chopped 4 ounces JONATHAN’S MUNCHIN’ MIX 6 tablespoons butter or a good olive oil 2 cups broth 8 ounce bag stuffing mix (or half a 16 oz bag) ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley 1 teaspoon fresh chopped rosemary |

Simmer mushrooms, onion and MUNCHIN’ MIX in butter or oil in a frying pan for 2 to 3 minutes, until onions are translucent. Remove from heat, add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Bake stuffing inside poultry, rolled fish, sweet peppers, or whatever you are serving that requires stuffing
Recipe stuffs a large chicken or small (10 – 12 pound) turkey This recipe can also be baked in a covered casserole for 45 minutes at 350oF. The combination of the MUNCHIN’ MIX and the grain makes a complete protein for a vegetarian entrée. |
